Ibiza Weddings

Getting married on the white isle

The Ibiza wedding season starts on the Island at the beginning of May running through to mid October, with a short break in August that sees less weddings because it is so hot, temperatures can reach 37/38 degrees!

I am coming into my tenth summer of doing hair and makeup for Ibiza brides, bridesmaids, mothers, and other wedding guests! I absolutely love being a wedding makeup artist, it is an honour to be involved in someone’s special day, on such a special island.

Ibiza has so many incredible wedding locations, and stunning views, you can see why it is one of the no1 choices for destination weddings in Europe.

Hair & Makeup for your wedding

Once a bride has looked at my packages and booked me, we start working together from 12 - 6 months before her wedding. We start with skincare and product regimen to make sure her skin is looking it very best for the wedding day. Then we meet for a hair and makeup trial to design and create the perfect bridal look. Most brides have a wedding party that they would also like hair and makeup for; bridesmaids, and usually mother of the bride and mother of the groom. Depending on the size of the group, I might bring a team of makeup artists and hair stylists with me on wedding day, to make sure that everybody is ready on time.

I enjoy doing wedding makeup for bridesmaids and mothers. I enjoy using natural tones to enhance their natural features; warm brown eyeshadows, taupe tones, and rose golds look great with most bridesmaid dresses. Mothers of the brides are similar, they usually don’t want too much so I enjoy using minimal cosmetics for an effect that creates a pretty makeup, and I always use waterproof mascara...just in case!

Once the bride is ready, she has got into her wedding dress, the bridesmaids are in their dresses too, I will do hair and makeup touchups for everyone, I apply final layer of lipstick, and use loose powder to combat shine, plus refresh any curls, and do one last squirt of hairspray for everyone

From the aisle to the last dance...

I recommend packing a makeup touch up kit, I provide blotting papers, but I would also include your lipstick, bobby pins and a little concealer or eyelash glue for emergencies!

Once everyone is ready with dresses on and fresh hair and makeup, the wedding photographer will take your pictures and get a beautiful group shot of you and your wedding party. Then it's time to jump into your wedding car, off to the venue, and walk up the aisle!
